Lately, the lovely Madison Cunningham has been killing it in the music industry. Attending her first Grammy’s, releasing a sophomore album, doing expensive touring around the globe. She’s more than up and coming. Cunningham has the type of voice and writing style that will be a classic throughout the decades. Playing shows with acts like Punch Brothers, Andrew Bird, Iron and Wine, etc. has opened up the doors for a new set of respectful and loving listening ears.

Now, she’s been invited to open for the one and only Harry Styles during his Halloween celebration at Madison Square Garden. What a pair! At first, I wasn’t sure if I could see the two together. Styles is beginning to establish himself as a true solo artist after his years in teenage heartthrob band One Direction. Though many fans followed this solo project because of their love for the band that ceases to be, they’re starting to appreciate him as his own person.

Harry has adapted a more encapsulating music style that matches that of Madison. Both have pulled inspiration from 70’s music, both sport carpet worthy outfits, and both have voices that are bound to reach audiences for years to come.

They pair up with Orville Peck for the two night party on October 30th and 31st. Not only is this line-up going to make the night legendary, but the event is marketed as a “Fancy Dress Party”. I’m fully anticipating some extravagant set up and costume presentation. It’s only expected that these shows will be one to go down in history!
