Live Music: From Indian Lakes & L.S. Dunes

It’s always a treat to see From Indian Lakes. They released their first record since 2019 mid last year, which falls under a shoegaze, indie rock type of genre. They’ve been touring the U.S. opening for punk rock band L.S. Dunes. “I love a show where the bands have different vibes,” lead singer Joe Vannucchi said in between songs. The latest album of Head Void was a lot heavier than Dimly Lit in 2019, but compared to L.S. Dunes it’s quite tame. Despite the contrast of vibes, the crowd was full of From Indian Lakes and L.S. Dunes fans who head banged with the opener and crowd surfed with the headliner. It was all around good vibes.
